Machinery, etc. eligible for subsidies under this project are machinery, etc. that contribute to improved productivity and efficiency by utilizing ICT technology, etc. in the fishery and aquaculture industries, and that meet one of the following requirements.
The subsidy requirement numbers on the list of registered machinery, etc. and on the application form are numbers that satisfy the following
(1) In the fishery industry, the equipment is used to collect and utilize data on water temperature, salinity, tidal currents, catch, netting, etc., as well as data on fishing sea conditions and operations, in order to improve productivity by increasing operational efficiency, saving energy, and reducing labor.
(2) In the aquaculture industry, data on water temperature, salinity, tidal currents, feeding conditions of farmed fish, etc., are collected and utilized to improve productivity, such as improving the efficiency of production activities and saving energy and labor, by monitoring the growth of aquaculture products and the environment, adjusting and optimizing feeding amounts, etc.
(3) Other applications that utilize cutting-edge technologies such as ICT and IoT to contribute to the realization of both sustainable use of marine resources and sustainable growth of the fisheries industry.
